RESULTS "Every Saturday 20-25 students invaded the school library for fun, excitement and learning.  These students who were 3-4-5th graders excelled in their academics, their behavior and their TAAS test. 99% of the students who attended Saturday Scholars passed or received academic recognition on the Spring 2002 TAAS test.  Because of  the work of Saturday Scholars and the emphasis on high expectations, focused learning and being proud of their scholarly achievements, our campus climate for continuing excellence has soared.  Lakeland, a campus of diverse learners, was awarded Recognized status by TEA for outstanding academic achievement.
